Job Description
SUMMARY
As a member of the HR Support Team, the HR Specialist serves as the first point of customer contact for the support and resolution of HR, Payroll and Benefits inquiries and provides administrative support for Workday transactions. Responsible for the timely and accurate data entry of employee job information. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as they relate to employee data management. Provides Workday and additional HR application support for users (internal and external). Operates in a customer-focused support-team environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform data entry of employee job information, including pre-employment screening.
- Audit transactions, error reports, and ensure compliance with employee data maintenance policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate, consistent and timely responses regarding HR related questions and issues with the goal to resolve at the first initial call.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues from varying ranges using relatively thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures, HR systems and internal HR process.
- Use the case management system to accurately document all inquiries and resolve cases timely. Routes issues in need of escalation to other functions as appropriate.
- Provide functional Workday support to remote and on-site users.
- Provide excellent service to ensure activities provide the intended experience for end users in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintain strict adherence with confidentiality requirements.
- Work on special reports and projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of experience in HR Operations with a focus on customer experience.
- Awareness of HR best practices in the market as well as legislative and regulatory changes and experience implementing required changes.
- Knowledge of HRMS (preferably Workday), Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task calls and data entry simultaneously.
- Customer focused, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and follow-up on issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum experience: 1 – 2 years HR experience.
Required Industry Experience (Construction, Insulation, Trades, etc.): NA
Special Requirements: May work beyond normal company hours due to business/ Overtime and weekends as required.
Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age
POSITION LOCATION
Physical presence at Branch Support Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, with potential growth to
hybrid remote/office schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
