Looking for a strong technical expert to take up the challenge of working with Workday Extend.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Workday Extend Consultant, you work within a multi-disciplinary and client-focused team that consists of specialists with different backgrounds. We help our clients to improve their HR organization and get it working optimally by using technology(Extend) as an enabler. This can range from system selection to full system implementations.

As a Senior Workday Extend Consultant: 

  • you will be having discussions with clients to analyze the gaps they are experiencing within their current HRIS architecture and helping them explore Workday Extend use cases; 

  • you will be leading conversations to make sure all requirements are coming to the table;

  • you will be responsible for scoping projects in a way that the clients will have a viable solution within the timeframe that is desired;

  • you will be the bridge between HR and technology, so you should be able to speak both languages; 

  • you need to be both communicative as tech-savvy.;

  • you will be overall responsible for the end-to-end process of designing and implementing an Extend application, guiding both the client as the internal project team through the different phases.  

Does this describe you? 

You have a good understanding of how to best deploy Workday to different types of customers and have an innovative view of creating solutions beyond what the customer requests. You are detail-oriented and are able to build and lead a diverse team of both functional and technical specialists. You are energized by challenges and use your technical expertise to bring projects to a successful conclusion.

  • Relevant academic degree, a specialization in Human Resources or IT is a plus;

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience as an HR/IT consultant or as an HR/IT professional with experience managing/maintaining HRIS systems;

  • You have at least 2 years of all-round Workday experience, preferably in multiple modules and integrations. Workday certifications are a plus;

  • You have a strong technical affinity and preferably experience with data formats such as XML, REST, SOAP and JSON;

  • Your experience includes analyzing business requirements and problem solving;

  • You have a good understanding of cloud computing, web services and related challenges;

  • You are a strong communicator and are able to build relationships and manage expectations in a professional manner;

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio is preferred, not required;

  • You have fun and experience working simultaneously on multiple projects for multiple clients and performing well under pressure;

  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken);

  • You are energetic, driven and know how to achieve the best possible results with your strong personality.
