What you will do:

As our Workday Architect, HR Reporting, you will work to understand business needs including the processes, reporting and analytics required for end-to-end business solutions. You will be the cross functional technical expert for enterprise-wide HR/business system users and the support teams. As the subject matter expert for reporting, this role will execute the Human Resources (HR) analytical strategy across the department by collaborating with key stakeholders to develop reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to extract actionable insights and metrics to drive people and company performance. You are also responsible for understanding business processes, reporting and analytics, eliciting and documenting requirements, and coordinating communication among various business groups, HRS technical and operational teams.

  • Implement HR analytical strategy aligned with organizational goals, continuously assess emerging trends in data analytics, and recommend strategic initiatives for success.

  • Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and Legal to establish and maintain data governance processes and standards to ensure data integrity and security in Workday.

  • Lead Workday Prism strategy by implementing current use cases and adding new solutions based on business and/or HR objectives.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for HR reporting, providing guidance to the HR team and implementing best practices.

  • Lead collaborative efforts with stakeholder groups to define data/report requirements, and design, develop, and deliver reports ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment/compliance with business needs and regulations.

  • Examine emerging trends and innovations in data analytics and reporting and recommend strategic initiatives to drive organizational success.

  • Design, develop, and implement dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Workday reports, Discovery Boards, Prism, BIRT, and/or Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

  • Document technical specifications, data models, and reporting processes to ensure clarity, sustainability, and knowledge transfer within the team.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in information systems, computer science, human resources management, or business administration

  • 8+ years of work experience as a Data Reporting Analyst and/or Business or Systems Analyst (preferably with a Human Capital Management (HCM) system such as Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors, or SAP) is strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of advanced Workday reporting, data/analytics; and visualization including calculated fields and dashboard is required for a qualified candidate.

  • Knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and systems, adept at translating requirements into effective reporting solutions, including knowledge of Workday security for reporting.

  • Expertise with Workday report writer suite, including Dashboard, matrix, and composite reporting.

  • Expertise with data visualization tools such as Prism Analytics, discover boards, Power BI, and/or similar platforms is required.

  • Possesses exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with expertise in handling large datasets and a solid grasp of data analytics concepts and data visualization principles.

  • Strong project management, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • $112,800 – $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
