Job Description Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and leadership positions for TIFEC and its various affiliated enterprises.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Be responsible for managing the entire talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Serve as an expert in recruiting candidates for various industries.
  • Partner with the hiring Team Leads to determine staffing needs and gathering position requirements.
  • Develop advertising programs, both internal and external, to ensure high visibility and branding with potential candidates.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, online posting boards, social media, community networking events, etc.
  • Screen resumes using efficient methods of selection.
  • Interview selected candidates both on the phone and in person.
  • Book, set up and execute university and other career fairs.
  • Use applicant tracking systems to manage positions and talent acquisition processes.
  • Manage application and resume files in accordance to company policy.
  • Coordinate additional interviews on site with Team Leads, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring Team Leads to ensure updated information on the interview process status and next steps.
  • Communicate offer letters and important employment information including benefits, compensation and employment agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations in regards to employment.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating the onboarding process with People Leaders.
  • Conduct follow ups with new hires in regards to their interviewing and onboarding process as well as maintain a professional, positive relationship with new hires, acting as a resource as necessary.
  • Represent TIFEC and its related enterprises in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources or related field required.
  • Experience recruiting in specialized industries such as information technology, engineering and manufacturing.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the recruiting and human resources field required.
  • Strong knowledge of all recruiting and internet career sites, as well as experience managing professional social media accounts.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Experience with Workday Talent Management module preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct various types of interviews.
  • Strong knowledge of all local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.
